Letter from Ken Rogers with South Routt Medical Center; July 15, 2024
Hello,
I wanted to let everyone know of some upcoming changes here at the South Routt Medical Center. I will be stepping down from my role as the District Manager of the clinic on July 27th. I had submitted my notice this past December with this date in mind and before we knew it, we are now less than two weeks away.
I started here over 20 years ago as a part-time med tech and was fortunate to be selected as the first District Manager in 2013. In that time, the practice has grown from 2800 patients per year to over 8500 patients through the facility this year. More importantly, I have been blessed to have absolutely the best staff working with me along with a board of directors who have been supportive of all of us. They all can be proud of their accomplishments and continued success.
I also want to thank all of you for supporting and helping me and clinic along the way. Everyone has been awesome to work with. We all are part of a community and network of folks I will truly miss.
I would like to introduce you to Kathryn Schlatter who will be taking over my position. Kathryn who lives outside of Yampa, has a background in healthcare and has been working as a practice manager for over 10 years. I am confident Kathryn will not miss a beat and is looking forward to continuing the same relationships that I have enjoyed. Please feel free to reach out anytime to Kathryn or myself as I will be available during the transition and beyond.
On a personal note, Melissa and I will be relocating to Port Townsend, Washington around the first of August. We have family up there and it is a beautiful part of the country. As much as we will miss Colorado after 45+ years, we will not miss the snow shoveling, and snow blowing, and snow plowing…However, we will miss all of you and the great community we are lucky to have been a part of.
Best wishes to everyone!
Ken Rogers
