Take your time and watch your speed today. Colorado State Patrol troopers and local officers and deputies from Routt and Moffat counties are doing extra patrols today.

Bike and costumed cyclists will be all around Steamboat Springs today and tomorrow for the annual ‘Boat Cruise, benefitting Integrated Community. There are individuals and teams riding a 12-mile course for 24 hours.  Find all details and the sign up form online. You still have time to put together a team , see details about team riding.

It’s the last weekend for the Steamboat Springs Pro Rodeo. That’s Friday and Saturday night.

 

 

The Steamboat Springs Farmers Market is Saturday on Yampa Street, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

  

Local sports teams are in action starting today.

The Moffat County Bulldogs football team is away with a 4 p.m. game Friday against John F. Kennedy High School at All-City Stadium in Denver.

The Volleyball team is at a tournament in Rangely.

Moffat County Cross Country is competing at Fraser Valley tonight.

The boys soccer team hosts Eagle Valley.

 

The Hayden Tigers volleyball team is also in Rangely.

 

 

The Steamboat Sailors Football team has a Saturday night game at 7 p.m., at home against Coal Ridge. Here is Sailor Head Coach Scott Przymus.

“We have 62 on the roster right now which is fantastic. That’s freshmen all the way up to seniors. Kids have been working really hard. We have a zero week game this year against Coal Ridge so short turnaround in pads but the kids are working really hard and starting to pick things up. We’re very excited about Saturday night.”

 Sailors volleyball team is at a tournament in Glenwood Springs.

The Boys Soccer team is in Evergreen on Saturday.

 Both Hayden and Soroco have their first football games next weekend.
