The fall play at Steamboat Springs High School is The Phantom Tollbooth, based on the children’s book by Norton Juster. The show centers around a boy named Milo and his adventure through the tollbooth. There is also Tock, the watchdog, played by senior Macy Pyles.
“People should come out to the play because this is one of our first plays we’ve done that’s really good for kids as well as adults. It’s got some pretty good humor in it. It reminds me a lot of kind of the Alice in Wonderland story, but kid version. It’s really fun.”
It is a comedy that is family-friendly and appropriate for all ages.
Performances start at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, Oct. 24-26, with a kids matinee at 3 p.m. on that Saturday. Tickets are available from the online box office through SteamboatSchools.net

This is really good show because everyone is really involved. We have a lot of ensemble which is a good thing because without ensemble, you cannot have a play.”
