HOUR#1- Kathy Elliott joins me on the program once again, we break down the Deion Sanders press conference and what the future looks like in Boulder. Does Sanders still have the capacity to make this a winning program? How much pressure is really on someone after beating Cancer? We also discuss Colorado State, and we give the Rams some love. Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi heads into year #3 under head coach Jay Norvell, and i expect big things. His favorite Wide Receiver Tory Horton left for the NFL, but Vegas still has hope in the Rams. The win total for Colorado state is set at 6.5----- The exact same number as the Buffs!
HOUR#2- Luke Wickiser joins the show (OH Report) and gives us an update on the Shedeur Sanders situation in Cleveland. Browns owner Jimmy Haslem had some choice words about the quarterback, we discuss here on the LowDown. There are some other class of 25' QBs that wound up in favorable situations...Kathy breaks down Ewers in Miami, Milroe in Seattle, and Will Howard in Pittsburgh. Football season is officially here, the NFL hall of fame game is this coming Thursday between the Chargers and the Lions. We talk about which team has a better outlook for the year.
HOUR#1- Kathy Elliott is back from Norman Oklahoma, and she is live in the studio tonight! We recap what happened in the college football playoff, which saw the Alabama Crimson Tide knock off the Sooners. We talk about what happened, and we discuss the futures of both Brent Venables, and John Mateer, and some of the other games as well. We talk about Indiana, and the dream season they continue to have behind Curt Cignetti. Oregon is a very interesting team, one that I am having trouble getting a read on. Kathy sheds some light on the Ducks and Dan Lanning. We give our predictions for how the rest of the college football playoff will go.
HOUR#2- The Denver Broncos suffer their first loss in almost 3 months, as the Jacksonville Jaguars come into Denver and knock off the Broncos. We talk about Jacksonville and what a great turnaround they have had, as well as what a great hire Liam Cohen was. I ask Kathy what she thinks about the other teams in the AFC, and I continue to hammer my opinions about Vance Joseph. I really do think that he is a lurking obstruction for this Broncos team. John Rein (VZP Digital) joins the show, and gives us an update on the Michigan coaching search, which is turning into an all time mess. Should the University move on from Warde Manuel? JR talks about the Lions who are going to miss the playoffs, just like I predicted. We talk about the NFL coaching carousel, and examine five teams who will likely need a new head coach.
HOUR#1- We are fresh off a Broncos Monday Night Football win, Forquer and I are here to break it down for you. A huge milestone game for the Broncos, they saw their first 100 yard rusher since 2022, and the first 500 yard night of offense since the Peyton Manning days. They beat up on a lowly Bengals team, and have themselves a classic "get right" game. We discuss Cincinnati , and the lack of Joe Burrow, should the Bengals go after one of the NYG quarterbacks Russ Wilson or Jameis Winston? Philly is on deck on the short week. Tyreek Hill suffered a season ending injury, we talk ab0ut what that means for the Dolphins, and the reminder of his career. And the MLB playoffs are underway, we keep you updated on the wildcard matchups, and we talk about the Cal Raleigh vs Aaron Judge MVP Race.
HOUR #2- I am back in on the Kansas City Chiefs, and I am out on the Baltimore Ravens. Forquer and I discuss what have been the biggest surprises thru four weeks of the NFL season, and I go with the abysmal play of the Baltimore Ravens. I also think the Chiefs disrespect is absolutely unwarranted, and they have a shot to win it all once again. Forquer brings up the fact that the AFC South, notably the Colts and Jaguars have both exceeded expectations, and they have been the most surprising teams. We get into it once more about Travis Hunter, and his impact so far a s a rookie, and we discuss who has been impressive so far for the rookie class. We wrap up the show with some NBA media day talk, the Denver Nuggets are heading into possibly their greatest season ever.
