HOUR#1- A monologue about the Denver Nuggets first game in the post- Mike Malone era. The Denver Nuggets beat the Sacramento Kings, and a lot is discovered about the inter-workings of this franchise. Jalen Pickett has a career high game, and Nikola Jokic channels his inner Bill Russel, as a player coach. Garrett from Oak Creek joins the show.
-The lack of great centers in the western conference is concerning. Ultimately will this be the reason why the Nuggets prevail? We examine the lack of the 5 position in the league.
HOUR#2- Kathy Elliot joins the program. We discuss the reality of Shedeur Sanders, and the new rumor of the New Orleans Saints potentially picking him in the draft. Who is the best comparison for Sanders? Andy Dalton? Bryce Young?
-John Rein (VZP Digital) joins the showf for his regular appearance. We talk about Tyreek Hill and his future with the Miami Dolphins after yet another incident with the police. I pose a question about one of the NFL's premiere franchises. We also discuss Tua Tagovailoa and the outlook with him moving forward.
- We talk about Gabe Landeskog and his imminent return to the Colorado Avalanche.
HOUR #1- One of the craziest days in recent memory, as the NBA finally comes to the realities of Forquer. It is rigged. The feds bust down the door of Terry Rozier, Chauncey Billups and numerous others, as the gambling saga gains a new chapter. Forquer and I discuss the shocking events that happened today that resulted in the Prince of Park Hill getting federally charged in an illegal gambling ring. The sports equinox reaches a new peak as the Denver Nuggets get set for their first game tonight. Justin Herbert is live on Thursday Night Football, and game one of the world series begins tomorrow. We hear from Wild Willy.
HOUR#2- We give out our plays of the week and break down a couple of the most intriguing games of the season. The Bears find themselves on a 4 game win streak and are a touchdown underdog against the 1-5 Baltimore Ravens with Lamar Jacksons status up in the air. On the other side of the country, the high octane Dallas Cowboys take on Denver in the Mile High City, where they haven't won since 1992. Forquer and I talk some more NBA, and discuss what we have seen after the opening few nights. Teams like Houston, OKC and Minnesota are going to be very fun to evaluate all season long, maybe the VanVleet injury for Houston will be bigger than we thought. I ask Forquer if he would rather have SGA or ANT long term. We touch on a concerning story coming out of KC, where starting left tackle Josh Simmons has not been heard from.
HOUR#1- Week one of the NFL season is officially in the books, and boy what it fun. I was at Mile High stadium for the BORING Broncos game, they beat the Titans in the snooze fest and I got a chance to see Cam Ward debut. Forqer and I discuss the state of the Broncos after one week, and our biggest takeaways from the game. Its also announced that the Broncos will be getting a brand new stadium, as they join the latest list of teams to follow suit with a transformation. Monday Night Football featured a great matchup between Minnesota and Chicago, with JJ McCarthy making his debut. Forqer shares his thoughts on the Bears meltdown, and we hear from Minnesota Mike.
HOUR#2- A ton of clarity in week number one of the season, the Detroit Lions looked abysmal, the Broncos were mediocre, but the game of the weekend was no doubt the Bills vs Ravens. We talk about the MVP matchup, and I tell you why the Buffalo Bills will not win the super bowl. We do a little discussion about Bryce Young and some of the other QBs that are under some pressure this year. And we wrap up the show by letting you know our favorite play of the week.
