Walmart in Craig has been chosen as one of 25 stores in Colorado to be remodeled. Moffat County shoppers will see new signage, new products, and department expansions. Pharmacies are being redesigned and checkout zones will have more privacy for customers. The Craig store on W. Victory Way is one of 650 Walmarts nationwide getting abrand refresh.
The Walmart in Craig first opened back in 2007. This is the store’s first remodel. Work starts in May and should be finished by late summer.

Walmart Invests in Colorado Stores, Associates and Communities in 2025
DENVER, CO – April 23, 2025 – Walmart is proud to deepen its commitment to Colorado by investing in local stores, empowering associates and enriching the communities it serves every day. Today, Walmart unveiled details of 25 planned store remodels this year in Colorado and new investments focused on enhancing the associate experience and community engagement. These initiatives underscore Walmart’s goal of being Colorado’s favorite place to shop.

Investing in a New Store Experience: 2025 Walmart Remodels in Colorado
This year, Walmart has set an ambitious goal to remodel more than 650 stores across the U.S., including 25 stores in Colorado. In the five years prior to 2025, Walmart has invested more than $310 million (M) to upgrade stores throughout Colorado.
We’re re-imagining the in-store shopping experience with updates throughout the store, including:
- New Look: Big, bold signage. Exciting new displays to better showcase merchandise.
- More Selection: Expanded departments. New items. More of what customers are looking for.
- Expanding Online Pickup & Delivery: To fulfill the growing number of online customer orders.
- Rethinking Our Pharmacy: Wider aisles. New private screening room. Privacy checkout areas.

Walmart, the Walmart Foundation and Sam’s Club invested in Colorado in the following ways:
- Donated a total of $33 Million (M) to empower local communities in Colorado in fiscal year 2024.
- Spent $2.7 Billion (B) with Colorado suppliers in fiscal year 2024 to support more than 28,000 supplier jobs across the state.
- Donated more than 13 million pounds of food to local food banks in Colorado in fiscal year 2025, which is the equivalent of 1 1 million (M) meals to help feed the hungry.
