Watch for work up at the ski area this week. There may be impacts, detours and delays on certain trails like Sunshine Road. Routt County Riders is doing trail maintenance on Pete’s Wicked Trail. The Creekside bridge is being replaced starting today. Logging work also begins on Mahogany Ridge today.

On-Mountain Project Impacts for the week of July 18-25, 2025
See the following on-mountain projects taking place this week. There may be impacts, detours, and delays so make sure to utilize the app and website for the most up to date information.

• Work on Sunshine Road will impact Pete’s Wicked trail through July 25. Detours are available. Routt County Riders will also be doing trail maintenance on July 19.
• Replacement of the Creekside Bridge beginning July 21 will impact Creekside & Pioneer trails, detours available.
• Helicopter training with Steamboat Bike Patrol scheduled for Monday, July 21 will impact Rustler’s Ridge & Valley View trails and Yoo Hoo road from about 7-8 a.m.
• Logging work will take place in the Mahogany Ridge area beginning July 21. Pioneer trail will be impacted with periodic closures.
• Helicopter operations will begin on July 28 to haul out logs and we will provide an update on impacted trails ahead of that time.
