Re:generation: A Christ-Centered Path to Lasting Transformation

Zack Alexander : Recovery Pastor

In a world where brokenness often feels overwhelming, many people are searching for a place of real hope, healing, and change. Re:generation is a Christ-centered, biblically grounded recovery program that offers that hope. Whether someone is battling addiction, anxiety, depression, anger, past trauma, codependency, eating disorders, or simply feeling distant from God, Re:generation provides a safe space to work through struggles and find freedom in Jesus Christ.

The heart of Re:generation is simple yet powerful: God loves you, and He has the power to restore your life. The program isn’t just about “managing” behaviors; it’s about deep, life-changing transformation that begins at the soul level.

What is Re:generation?

Re:generation is a 12-step discipleship process rooted in Scripture. Unlike secular recovery programs, it focuses entirely on Christ as the source of lasting change. Over the course of roughly 9–12 months, participants walk through the biblical steps of recovery in a supportive community, learning to trust God with every part of their life.

The process includes:

  • Daily Bible reading and journaling to connect with God and renew the mind
  • Small group support with leaders who have experienced their own recovery journey
  • Practical application of Scripture to real-life struggles
  • Confession and accountability in a grace-filled environment

Benefits of Re:generation

  1. True Spiritual Renewal

The greatest transformation that happens in Re:generation isn’t just freedom from a specific struggle—it’s a deeper, more intimate relationship with Jesus. As participants learn to surrender control, they discover the peace and joy that only He can bring.

  1. Healing from the Root Cause

Many programs focus on stopping certain behaviors, but Re:generation goes deeper, helping participants address the heart-level wounds, lies, and patterns that cause brokenness. This leads to change that lasts.

  1. A Safe and Supportive Community

Isolation is a breeding ground for shame, but community brings light into the darkness. Re:generation groups are filled with people who understand the struggle and walk alongside each other with grace and truth.

  1. Tools for Life

The biblical principles learned in Re:generation—such as confession, amends, forgiveness, and daily dependence on God—become lifelong habits that strengthen faith and relationships.

  1. Freedom from Shame and Guilt

By embracing God’s truth, participants find freedom from the heavy weight of past mistakes. They learn that in Christ, they are fully forgiven, deeply loved, and completely new.

Who is it for?

Re:generation isn’t just for those struggling with substance abuse—it’s for everyone. We all have areas of brokenness, whether that’s pride, fear, people-pleasing, sexual sin, or emotional wounds. If you’re breathing, you qualify.

A Journey Worth Taking

Recovery is not an overnight fix, and Re:generation doesn’t pretend it is. But week by week, God uses the process to bring hope where there was despair, life where there was death, and freedom where there was bondage.

Countless participants testify that Re:generation has changed their lives forever—not because the program is magical, but because it continually points them to the only One who can truly heal: Jesus Christ.

If you’re ready to experience freedom, healing, and a renewed relationship with God, Re:generation is a journey worth starting.
