The Head of School of North Routt Community Charter School (NRCCS) has been dismissed by the board, effective immediately. A statement from the board of NRCCS Monday afternoon says, “After an internal comprehensive review, the Board concluded that leadership change was in the best interest of the school and its community. NRCCS remains steadfast in its commitment to provide an exceptional educational environment grounded in respect, safety, and excellence.”
The statement adds, “The Board is now focused on supporting faculty and students during this transition and on identifying leadership that reflects the school’s core values.”
No other details have been released.
At this time, Operations Manager Carlie Pedrini is acting as the lead of the school and the board is working on filling the role.
This was Kohler’s third year as Head of School. His last day was last Tuesday, Nov. 4.
North Routt Community Charter School is in Clark, with 81 full-time students and 12 part-time students. The school was established in 2001, and moved into its current facility in 2012.
