MCSD to provide food for families on Friday

Moffat County School District is providing meals for free on Friday, to those who may need it. These are meal bags for families with children who are experiencing food insecurity.

Stop by the front of Moffat County High School from 10-11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 14, to pick up bags with three days worth of breakfasts and lunches, provided by the school district. No I.D. is needed.

The school district writes, “If you need food, we’re here for you.”

Moffat County School District will provide no-cost “Grab ‘n’ Go” meal bags for families experiencing food insecurity Friday, Nov. 14

Moffat County families with children experiencing food insecurity are invited to Moffat County High School Friday, Nov. 14, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., to pick up bags with three days worth of breakfasts and lunches provided by the school district.

One bag will be distributed per child 18 and under in the household. Parents do not need to bring the children to prove they live in the household, but we do ask for your consideration to ensure we’re able to provide food to all who need it. No ID or proof of need is necessary. If you need food, we’re here for you.

Distribution will be in front of the high school, 900 Finley Way, in Craig. We look forward to seeing you there and are grateful for the opportunity to help our community in trying times.

 

Moffat County School District proveerá gratuitad bolsas de comida por familias experimentando inseguridad de comida el Viernes, 14 de Noviembre

Familias de Moffat County con niños experimentando inseguridad de comida se invitarán a Moffat County High School el Viernes, 14 de Noviembre, de 10 a 11 de la mañana, para agregar bolsas con tres días de almuerzos y desayunos por el distrito.

Una bolsa se distribuirá cada niño de 18 años y menos por casa.
