The Steamboat Sailors Boys Soccer team is in the championship game for the CHSAA 3A State Soccer Championships at noon on Saturday. The game against Kent Denver is at Switchbacks Weidner Field in Colorado Springs.

Moffat County School District is providing meals for free on Friday, for those families with children who are experiencing food insecurity. Stop by the front of Moffat County High School from 10-11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 14, to pick up bags with three days worth of breakfasts and lunches, provided by the school district.

 

The fall production for the theatre group at Moffat County High School continues Friday and Saturday.

 

 

Routt County Search and Rescue presents Rescue Reels. It’s an evening of short films from the field, supporting Routt County Search and Rescue. The fun starts at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, at Wildhorse Cinema. Tickets are $20 and available at the door. There’s also a Silent Auction.

 

 

The performance of Cirque Melodie: A Foolish Wag, featuring the music of Mozart is at Strings Music Pavilion, Nov. 14-15. There are three performances, which will feature a spectacular circus production with acrobatics and physical theater performances. The show is for all ages. Presented by MOTH Live. The Warren Miller movie “Sno-Ciety” is tonight and runs through Saturday at Colorado Mountain College in Steamboat Springs. It’s a fundraiser for Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club.

The 31st Annual Festival of Trees is at Tread of Pioneers Museum, brought to you by Yampa Valley Bank. See the beautiful trees from local businesses and organizations from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays, through Nov. 29. Closed Thanksgiving Day. Nearly 50 groups are participating.

The Yampa Arts & Crafts Fair is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at South Routt Elementary School in Yampa. It’s the 44th year for the annual fair with over 60 booth spaces. The Mountain Tapestry Choir performs at 11 a.m. and Santa arrives at 2:30 p.m.

 

 

The Gravy Train 5K is at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at Loudy-Simpson Park in Craig. The cost for entry is $5 or five cans of non-perishable foods.

 

 

Circus Day Camp is Saturday, Nov. 15, at Yampitheater, 111 W. Victory Way, #119, in Craig. There are two camp options for kids ages four to 11, or 12-18. Learn tricks and fun from a professional circus artist entertainer. Email questions to yampitheaterplayhouse@gmail.com

 

 

Steamboat GameCon ’25 is Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at STARS Ranch. Join others for board games, Dungeon & Dragons, a silent auction and other fun games. The Veterans Center is hosting Yoga classes on Saturday, Nov. 15, at the Veterans Center. There’s an online Chair Yoga Core & Balance Class at 9 a.m. and then an in-person Gentle Yoga Class at 2 p.m. at The Veterans Center. Donations will be used to support the Veterans Yoga Project during Veterans Gratitude Week. KPERFORM’s Ready, Set… Go for GOLD with BrainBodyVoice (BBV) Systems is offering interactive events Friday at 5 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m. at The Veterans Center of Steamboat Springs, and then three sessions during the day at Old Town Hot Springs (10 a.m., noon, and 3 p.m.) on Saturday. It is for athletes, performing artists, and fitness enthusiasts of all ages, and it is free.

United Way of the Yampa Valley is collecting $25 food gift cards from City Market and Safeway in Steamboat Springs and City Market or Walmart in Craig for local families in need during the holiday season. Hockey players from the Steamboat Stampede will be at Safeway from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, to collect donations.
