If you have to travel today, traffic shouldn’t be as bad as it will be tomorrow. Colorado Department of Transportation says all statewide construction projects are stopped and there will be no work today. Last year, CDOT says on the day after Christmas, 46,011 vehicles traveled through the Eisenhower/Johnson Memorial Tunnels. The I-70 Mountain Express Lanes are open from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. for westbound traffic and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. for eastbound traffic.
