Mental Health Minute — Sober Events
By: Sarah Coleman

Sober events are gaining momentum as more people recognize the powerful connection between sobriety, mental health, and overall wellness. Choosing alcohol-free spaces can reduce anxiety, improve sleep, support emotional regulation, and create deeper, more authentic social connections. Whether someone is in recovery, sober-curious, or simply prioritizing their well-being, sober gatherings offer a refreshing way to connect without pressure or expectation.
That is where The Phoenix comes in.
The Phoenix partners with the local community to host sober, inclusive, and genuinely fun events designed for everyone; people in recovery, those supporting loved ones, the sober-curious, or anyone simply choosing a sober environment. From yoga and pickleball to climbing, bowling, CrossFit, arts and crafts, and game, trivia, or movie nights, events take place at locations all over town and continue to grow based on what the community wants to see.
To explore upcoming events, download the NewForm app and scan the QR code. At The Phoenix, we’re fueling a movement rooted in connection and belonging, creating safe spaces where individuals can build friendships, find support, and experience the joy of community without substances.
