The Steamboat Reading nonprofit has gone through a re-branding with a new name.
Executive Director Kim Schulz who is also co-founder of the group made the announcement Wednesday night.
“Our new name is now The Next Page Learning Center and we hope that it offers a feeling of progress and hope and we want kids to be able to say, ‘I go to the Next Page,’ as if they are already readers.”
The Next Page Learning Center serves students in Northwest Colorado, including Routt and Moffat counties, especially those with dyslexia and other learning challenges.
It started back in 2017 to provide high-quality reading instruction and parent education. Students are supported through scholarships.
The Mission Statement is: Empower children to overcome dyslexia and other learning challenges through individualized instruction, learning evaluations, and trusted advocacy, enabling every child to thrive.
