The National Football League has confirmed that the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Washington Commanders will be part of the 2026 London games, contributing to what will be a record-setting nine international matchups next season.

The 2026 international lineup will span four continents and seven countries. Among other confirmed participants are the Detroit Lions, who will play in Munich, as well as the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams, set for a game in Australia. Additional teams, including the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints, are also slated for international appearances.

Jacksonville is scheduled to host two contests in the U.K., splitting them between Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and Wembley Stadium. The team will once again play in consecutive weeks overseas — the third straight time they’ve done so — continuing a long-running presence in London that dates back to 2013. Including 2026, the Jaguars will have appeared in 16 regular-season games in the city, compiling a 7-7 record internationally.

Jacksonville head coach Liam Coen said: “Last season was my first experience in London as head coach of the Jaguars, and my immediate takeaway was London is undoubtedly our home away from home. We have a passionate and knowledgeable fan base in London, built over time and still growing, and we’re making a positive impact with fans throughout the United Kingdom as well. That’s something our entire organization, starting with our ownership, has worked very hard to achieve and takes great pride in further developing each season. With two games in London in 2026, it’s going to be great fun for our fans in London as well as for everyone in Jacksonville who will be making the trip. I’m definitely looking forward to it, and I know our players are happy to return as well.”

Meanwhile, Washington will serve as the designated home team for one London matchup at Tottenham. Opponents, dates and kickoff times for all games will be unveiled when the full 2026 schedule is released this spring. The Commanders are still chasing their first win outside the United States. They tied the Cincinnati Bengals at Wembley in 2016 and fell 16-13 to the Miami Dolphins in Madrid last season.

Commanders managing partner Josh Harris said in a statement: “Last season’s trip to Madrid was personally unforgettable, and a tremendous milestone for our organization. Playing in the NFL’s first regular season game in Spain and experiencing the passion of fans was truly special and reaffirmed the power of and excitement for the Commanders and NFL globally. London is home to some of the most passionate sports fans in the world. We’re grateful for the opportunity to bring the Commanders and NFL football to this unique city. This trip represents another meaningful moment to engage new communities, strengthen relationships, and continue to enhance our fanbase in the UK and worldwide.”

In total, 62 NFL regular-season games have been staged outside the U.S., with cities including London, Munich, Berlin, Frankfurt, Madrid, Dublin, São Paulo, Mexico City and Toronto hosting matchups.
