Media Alert: Spring Resort Operations
As spring conditions continue to evolve, Steamboat Resort will focus resources on the upper mountain where our operations teams can prioritize the best terrain and snow quality.
Beginning Tuesday, March 24, skiers and riders will download from the upper mountain via the Steamboat and Wild Blue gondolas.
Today (Tuesday, March 24) will be the last day of the season for Four Points Lodge, Gondola Joe’s Express, and Stoker.
All terrain on the lower mountain will close except Sitz, Sitz Back, Jess’ Cutoff, Vogue, lower Short Cut, and Stampede via Christie Peak Express lift, Greenhorn Ranch, and the Rabbit Ears and Bashor terrain parks. Bashor lift will reopen to provide access to the terrain parks via the Wild Blue Gondola mid station.
Beginning Wednesday, March 25, Uphill Access, as well as Storm Peak, Christie Peak Express, and Morningside lifts will be closed for the season.
The Steamboat Gondola, Wild Blue Gondola, Burgess Creek lift, Elkhead lift, Sundown lift, Sunshine lift, South Peak lift will remain open as conditions allow.
The final day of the season for Hazie’s will be Saturday, March 28, and Ragnar’s will be Sunday, March 29.
We will continue to provide updates as conditions evolve. Download the Ikon Pass app or visit Steamboat.com for the latest.
