HOUR#1- We are back after a brief hiatus here on the LowDown. I was in the Big Apple and was fortunate enough to attend Yankees opening day, and take a nice vacation. A ton of stuff to discuss here today, and honestly a very fun news evening. A couple of breaking stories as we begin the show. New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel was caught having an affair with NFL reporter Diana Russini. Mike Malone wraps up his opening day press conference as the new head coach of North Carolina. John Rein (VZP Digital) joins the show as our in house "Michigan Man" to discuss the national championship game. We kick off April with a bang, and discuss the biggest game of the night Charlotte vs Boston, a great matchup between two fun eastern conference teams in the association.
HOUR#2- Tons of NBA talk here as the rookie of the year race heats up. Forquer and I go in depth on the comparisons between Kon Knueppuel (Hornets) and Cooper Flagg (Mavericks) one of the best rookie races in recent memory. The Denver Nuggets surge with only a few games remaining in the NBA season. Jokic should probably be the front runner for MVP, we discuss why he isn't, and who the biggest threats out west are. Is this the best Nuggets bench ever? is Tim Hardaway Jr one of the best signings ever? Are we really about tow go all the way? Th Nuggets are peaking at exactly the right time. Presumed number one pick in this years NFL draft Fernando Mendoza will not attend the draft..... and the Raiders sign Kirk Cousins? An interesting story we fill you in on here on this Tuesday night edition of the Lowdown.
