State Director Sallie Clark, for the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development is in Hayden Thursday, April 30, for a public presentation on loans, grants and guarantees through USDA Rural Development. She is also presenting a business grant to the Northwest Colorado Innovation Center, in support of a micro-lending fund in Moffat, Routt, and Rio Blanco counties. Routt County Commissioner Tim Redmond will be there along with Craig City Council member Randy Looper. The event is at 11 a.m. at the Hayden Center.

Two or more members of the Moffat County Board of County Commissioners may attend a workshop Thursday afternoon with representatives from Tri-State, to discuss their Electric Resource Plan.

The Moffat County Ag Education Greenhouse is now open at Moffat County High School. There are flowers, vegetables, potted plants, and more. Hours are 3-5 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Cash or check only. You can also email allison.villard@moffatsd.org at the school district to place an order.
Advanced tickets to the Brown’s Amusement Park Carnival on Memorial Day weekend (May 21-25) in Craig go on sale at 9 a.m. this Thursday in the Yampa Building. Please enter through the front doors. There’s a limit of ten tickets per person.

Then Friday morning at 10 a.m., tickets for Season 39 for Strings Music Festival go on sale. Thirty-four concerts are on the schedule with 18 Grammy Award-winning artists. Tickets will be available at StringsMusicFestival.com

The prom committee at Steamboat Springs High School is raising money for Prom Night on Saturday, May 9. Prom is for students at high schools throughout the Steamboat Springs community. A link to donate is on the Events Calendar on our website.
Stop by Olympian Hall this evening for a Youth Art Exhibit, hosted by the Recreation/Youth Programs with the City of Steamboat Springs. The opening reception is from 5-7 p.m. The exhibit will also be on display during First Friday Artwalk from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, May 1.
