HOUR#1-  The Denver Broncos make a head-scratching trade with the New Orleans Saints, one that involves a bench player and multiple picks.  We break it down here on the LowDown.  Cody Reer joins the show (SmashHitSports) to discuss the looming college football season and some of his favorite wagers that he is looking forward to.  We discuss many blue-chip teams, including the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Nebraska Cornhuskers.   And Micah Parsons trade talks are heating up, we talk about where the all-pro Dallas defensive end will play this season.

HOUR#2- John Rein (VZP Digital) comes on the show to talk about the sanctions and the fallout from the Michigan cheating scandal.  We compare it to other controversies in the past, and discuss the severity of the punishment.  JR gives us a couple of his favorite wagers of the year, and explains why Penn State should not be picked to win a ton of games.  The New York football giants are in the midst of their final pre-season game, Jaxson Dart has slight injury while we are on air.  We talk about the Giants QB room and beg the question of just how good Russ Wilson's receivers have been throughout his career.

HOUR#1-  Micah Parsons gets traded to the GB Packers, just a mere 48 hours after we predicted it here on the LowDown.  Forqer is back in the studio for this one, and he is fired up.  We go in depth on this blockbuster deal, talking about what this means for Micah Parsons, and the surrounding teams in the respective divisions.  Did the Packers give up too much?  Did Jerry Jones set his team up for failure?  Is Micah Parsons really worth 47 million dollars per year?  What does this mean for the edge rusher market and players like Nik Bonitto?  We take some callers and discuss here on the program.

HOUR#2-  The NBA cup finals are tonight between the Knicks and the Spurs, which leads into a discussion about Victor Wembenyama, and the western conference to start off hour number 2.  The Nuggets get a staple win over the Rockets last night, we break it down.  We also give out our wagers of the week in this hour.  I am taking the Chicago Bears to get it done against GB, Forquer is riding the Philly Eagles to close out their division.  We wrap up the final half hour with some in depth analysis on Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins, after they get slaughtered on national TV by the Steeler, eliminating them from playoff contention.  We also discuss Kyler Murray, and start to talk about the 2026 offseason.  An incredible time for Colorado Sports, an incredible time for THE LOWDOWN!
