HOUR#1-  The first weekend of college football is in the books, Forqer and I take a look at everything that happened.  The Alabama vs Florida State game is the one that stuck out to me, a clear representation of everything that is wrong with the modern era of college football today.  Alabama finds themselves in a precarious situation in the post- Saban era, as their new head coach Kalen DeBoer already has amassed the same amount of unranked losses as Saban did during his entire tenure, not to mention the new coach comes with a $70 million dollar buyout.    Forqer and I take a look at the "Worst to First" trend, where every year since 2002, an NFL team has gone from bottom of the division to the top, we take a look at who that team will be this year.   And we give out our MVP picks for the season, and take some callers.  We hear from Wild Willy.

HOUR#2-  We get a couple of familiar faces in hour number two, as two of the premiere guests on the LowDown are going head to head with their alma maters this week.   Oklahoma vs Michigan is the game of the week, we have none other than Kathy Elliott and John Rein to break it down.  Both graduates of their respective programs, Kathy will be in Norman for the blue blood showdown in which favors the Sooners by 5.5 points.  These teams have only met one other time in history, all eyes are on the Sooners and the Wolverines.   Forquer and I wrap it up with some week 1 NFL talk, The Cowboys and Eagles will kickoff the 2025 season while we are on air Thursday night, while the Bears and Vikings will wrap things up on Monday.  Football is here.

HOUR#1-  Forquer is back in the studio with me as we delve into a hectic week of sports.  The TNF game on the docket tonight is the Buffalo Bills vs Houston Texans, a very intriguing matchup between the reigning MVP and the top defense in the NFL.  We discuss Josh Allen and talk about just how hot the seat is of head coach Sean McDermott.  Bills star receiver Keon Coleman has been benched for this game as well, an interesting tidbit about this game.  We discuss the Chicago Bears, as they get set to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers who will be without Aaron Rodgers due to injury.  We discuss Caleb, and talk about how the rest of the season will shake out with Chicago currently in first place in the North.  Andrew Bilski joins the show to chime in on the Bears discussion, and offers some food for thought on the Wager of the Week.

HOUR#2-   A fascinating situation is developing in Atlanta, where the Falcons have seemingly found themselves in QB hell.  Michael Penix Jr is officially done for the season after another ACL tear, and things are getting ugly.  The Falcons drafted penix with a top ten pick, after paying Kirk Cousins 180 million dollars.  A totally unique situation, we discuss what the Falcons should do.  Some NBA chatter here on the LowDown, it sounds like trouble is brewing in Charlotte in regards to superstar Lamelo Ball.  Forquer and I talk about what a potential fit would look like for Ball, and what his career looks like in year number 6 now.  And the great Victor Wembenyama finds himself injured once again, is this goihng to be a lingering issue for the seven foot four freak? Should the spurs be playing him differently?  Tune into this November edition of the LowDown.

HOUR #1- We discuss the Denver Nuggets, and their roller coaster of a season.  After a loss to the Washington Wizards, the Nuggets bounce back and got a win against the Golden State Warriors, without Jokic or Murray playing at all.

-Cody Reer from SmashHitSports joins us once again to break down a couple of key matchups, as we head into march madness.   Colorado State faces off against Memphis in the first round, we break it down.  A blue blood matchup between Kansas and Arkansas is looming, And Cody gives out his favorite bet of the first round.

HOUR#2-  We discuss Cooper Kupp going to Seattle, the state of the WR market in the NFL, and the new look NFC West. 

-John Rein joins us and breaks down the Big 10 side of the bracket, going in-depth on teams like Michigan, Wisconsin and Purdue.   

-We discuss Jamarr Chase, and Tee Higgins, and the historic deal for the WR duo in Cincy.
