HOUR#1-  The Denver Nuggets lose two very intense games against Minnesota and San Antonio.  We discuss the amazing performances from Nikola Jokic and Jalen Pickett.  Further discussions on the Minnesota Timberwolves, and the state of the western conference with 10 days left in the regular season. 

-Cody Reer (SmashHitSports) joins the program to further discuss march madness, as we head into the final weekend of the tournament.   In-depth breakdowns of both Final Four matchups, including the choice wagers of the weekend.  We discuss the college basketball current coaching carousel, and some of the remaining big names in the transfer portal.

HOUR#2- The Dallas Cowboys are the lead story for the second hour.  They trade for Joe Milton, the backup QB for the New England Patriots.  Where do the cowboys stand heading into the 25-26 season? Will they pay Micah Parsons?  All that and more.

-Our friend John Rein (VZP Digital) joins the show to talk about the Colorado Avalanche, and the feeling surrounding the team after a shootout victory against the Chicago Blackhawks. We talk about other teams that are making playoff pushes, including the St. Louis Blues, and the Dallas Stars. 

-We discuss the Atlanta Braves tumultuous start to the season at 0-7 on the season, and the dream start for the Padres and Dodgers, both 7-0 and undefeated.   

HOUR#1-  Another Thursday night here on the LowDown in an evening that is chalk full of sports.  The Thursday night football game tonight is an interesting one, as it pits two 40- year old QBs against each other.  Joe Flacco and Aaron Rodgers go toe to toe, as the Bengals and Steelers clash in a division rivalry matchup .  Forqer and I give out a couple of plays, and break down how this game is going to go.  We discuss DK Metcalf and Jamarr Chase, and the slight possibility of the lowly Bengals winning this football game.    We check in on the two MLB playoff games going on, I explain how a possible MLB lockout in 2027 would look, and we talk about a very emotional Denver Broncos game this weekend, as Demaryius Thomas gets inducted into the Broncos ring of fame.  Two really tough games to pick at the end of the first hour, we talk about Chargers vs Colts and Cleveland vs Miami.

HOUR#2-  Victor Wembenyama is 7 foot 7.... yes that's correct.  He has grown an inch every single year he has been in the NBA, and now he has an opportunity to be potentially both a defensive force, and an MVP candidate.  Forqer and I get into some NBA talk here, specifically discussing some of the Texas teams, as Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas all look to be competitive.   The Nuggets are one week away from the start of their season, many players have been making noise, but there is one in particular that I want to talk about today, and that player is Tim Hardaway Jr.  The Minnesota Timberwolves continue to lurk, Forqer and I have slightly different opinions when it comes to Anthony Edwards.  We wrap up the show with our plays of the week, Forqer backing the Denver Broncos, and I am taking the Patriots in Vrabel's return to Tennessee.  A great show here tonight, as we find ourselves dead center in the sports equinox.

HOUR#1- The great Kathy Elliot takes the place of Forqer today, as we go in-depth on college football on this episode of the LowDown.  We talk about Colorado football and the Big 12 conference as a whole.  Who is the best QB in the conference? Can Arizona State continue their momentum? Will Deion be able to replace Shedeur and Travis Hunter at Colorado?  Kathy breaks it down.

- We talk Heisman odds.  Blue Blood Qbs and one generational WR? HOUR#2-  Andrew Bilski joins the show to discuss NFL win totals!  We discuss one of our favorite QBs Justin Fields, and how many games he is slated to win with the New York Jets.  We discuss this incoming class of quarterbacks (Ward, Sanders, Dart) and I give out one of my favorite wagers of the year.

- John Rein (VZP Digital) jumps on the program to talk about the NHL draft, which begins tomorrow.  An interesting ongoing saga surrounding the potential number 1 pick, and a look back at what was a historic 2015 draft a decade ago.  We also break down some of the other moves in and around the league.  And a new CBA for the NHL? changes on the Horizon.  This is the LowDown.
