HOUR#1- Fun Show today, as I am in the studio alone for a solo edition of the LowDown. I begin the show with a monologue about the longest game in world series history. A painfully boring game which saw the Dodgers take game 3, I break down why the Blue Jays self deprecated, and why the managers of both teams deserve some flack. The phonelines are open and Wild Willy gives us a ring, talking about the Broncos huge win over the Dallas Cowboys this past Sunday. Was this Bo Nix best game as a passer? What should the Broncos do at the trade deadline? Is this clearly a top ten team in football? We look ahead to the Broncos schedule going into week 9, and make some predictions with the trade deadline looming. Cody Reer (SmashHitSports) joins the show for the first time in a few weeks, as the college football coaching carousel gets crazier by the day. Cody gives his take on all the blue chip openings, LSU, Florida and Penn Stare, and sheds some light on the situation brewing with Deion Sanders in Boulder. We touch on CSU firing Norvell, and wrap it up with and end of October Heisman discussion.
HOUR #2- Fun second hour on todays show, with a little throwback to the no boundaries crew. Andrew Bilski joins the show to talk about a devastating Bears loss against the lowly Ravens without Lamar Jackson. What happened??? The Ravens are once again betting favorites to win that division, we discuss. Trouble in paradise for Rodgers and company as they drop a home game to GB, and now have Indy with the best record in football coming to town. Is Johnathan Taylor the league MVP? How much validity can we really put into Daniel Jones and the Colts? Vladan Chase joins us in the very final segment of the show for some much needed NHL talk. The Avs are slated for a huge season, but there are some contractual issues that still need resolved, Vlad helps me break it down. Connor McDavid signing a team friendly deal with Edmonton has shifted the market, we talk about what will happen in the western conference.
