HOUR#1-  Another Thursday night here on the LowDown in an evening that is chalk full of sports.  The Thursday night football game tonight is an interesting one, as it pits two 40- year old QBs against each other.  Joe Flacco and Aaron Rodgers go toe to toe, as the Bengals and Steelers clash in a division rivalry matchup .  Forqer and I give out a couple of plays, and break down how this game is going to go.  We discuss DK Metcalf and Jamarr Chase, and the slight possibility of the lowly Bengals winning this football game.    We check in on the two MLB playoff games going on, I explain how a possible MLB lockout in 2027 would look, and we talk about a very emotional Denver Broncos game this weekend, as Demaryius Thomas gets inducted into the Broncos ring of fame.  Two really tough games to pick at the end of the first hour, we talk about Chargers vs Colts and Cleveland vs Miami.

HOUR#2-  Victor Wembenyama is 7 foot 7.... yes that's correct.  He has grown an inch every single year he has been in the NBA, and now he has an opportunity to be potentially both a defensive force, and an MVP candidate.  Forqer and I get into some NBA talk here, specifically discussing some of the Texas teams, as Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas all look to be competitive.   The Nuggets are one week away from the start of their season, many players have been making noise, but there is one in particular that I want to talk about today, and that player is Tim Hardaway Jr.  The Minnesota Timberwolves continue to lurk, Forqer and I have slightly different opinions when it comes to Anthony Edwards.  We wrap up the show with our plays of the week, Forqer backing the Denver Broncos, and I am taking the Patriots in Vrabel's return to Tennessee.  A great show here tonight, as we find ourselves dead center in the sports equinox.

HOUR#1-  A high energy Thursday edition of the LowDown tonight, as we follow a couple huge stories across the NFL.   Preseason is officially under way as well.  Speculation continues to swirl around Arch Manning, and the belief is that he will stay in college beyond this season, we discuss what could be a massive shakeup for the bottom-barrel teams. We discuss Joe Burrow and the Cincy Bengals.  Is Burrow immune to blame?  Chargers tackle Rashawn Slater is done for the season just days after signing a historic contract to make him the highest paid OL ever.  Massive news from a Chargers team with high aspirations.

HOUR#2- John Rein (VZP Digital) joins the show to discuss the massive new deal announced from ESPN.  The oh-so-popular NFL RedZone show is looking to expand, possibly to other sports.  Critics are calling it the "Biggest Day in ESPN history"  JR is here to fill us in on the details.  Forqer and I give out our official SuperBowl picks.   We go in depth on the Great Lamar Jackson, and we discuss how good he is from a historical sense.   Get our official 2025 SB picks here.

HOUR#1-  Kathy Elliott hosts the show with me today.  We open up the show with an AFC west update.  A ton of AFC West talk on today's episode, especially about the Broncos and the Chiefs.   We compare the different wide receiver corps, and we get into the nitty gritty about the chiefs offseason.  Is Kansas City really going to be as bad as people say?  Are Broncos fans hopes too high?  Wild Willy makes a wager with me Live on the AIR !  Listen to the LowDown on FOX.

HOUR#2-  College football turns political as President Trump signs an executive order that will have repercussions on the current wild-west NIL landscape.  Kathy and JR (VZP Digital) break it down for us, and what it means.  We discuss Deion Sanders, and the lack of commentary coming out of Boulder, what will this season look like for the Buffs?   We discuss the new crop of elite QBs, and go in-depth on everyone from Bryce Underwood to Archie Manning.   Join us for a July edition of the show, as we inch closer and closer to the start of football season.
