Steamboat Ski Patrol did some lift evacuation training on the Christie Peak Express chairlift Thursday afternoon. It’s something they practice throughout the year according to Dir. of Ski Patrol Wes Richey.
Richey says he can remember having to do a lift evacuation maybe five times in his 42 years at the ski area.
