This Sunday, June 6, is the 40^th Steamboat Marathon and 10K so be prepared for street closures. Both races finish in downtown Steamboat on Lincoln Ave. Runners and support vehicles will also be on County Road 129 which is Elk River Road.

From 6 a.m. until 3 p.m. one westbound lane of Lincoln Avenue and street parking will be closed from 5^th to 11^th Streets for the finish of all races.  In addition, 6^th & 8^th Streets between Lincoln Avenue and Oak Street will be closed for race activities on Sunday. A rolling closure on 5^th Street from Lincoln to Oak may be encountered Sunday morning, between 6-8:45 a.m.

This year’s race is sold out. The marathon has 430 runners and the 10K will have 500 runners.
