The new library in Oak Creek is up and running in its new home on Main Street. Debbie Curtis is the manager of the South Routt Library District.
Story time is at 10 a.m. on Thursdays.
The library was paid for partially by a grant from the Department of Local Affairs. Offices on the upper level can be rented, which also help off-set the costs of the Oak Creek Library. The South Routt District also has a branch in Yampa. The Oak Creek Library is part of the AspenCat system which gives patrons access to ebooks at 120 libraries throughout Colorado.
The South Routt Library in Oak Creek is hosting Family Dancing with an African dance theme. Wendy Mikelsons is leading the dancing. It’s at 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4 at the new Oak Creek Library on Main Street in Oak Creek.
