In Craig on Sunday, the Daughters of the American Revolution arranged to put flags at all of the headstones of the veterans in the Craig Cemetery Sunday.

 

91-year-old Korean War Veteran Al Shepherd handed out the flags to the many volunteers who showed up to help.

“This is a recognition of all the veterans who have passed defending this country so we have freedom as we have today.”

There are over 820 veterans buried at the cemetery in Craig. They’re asking for volunteers to pick up those flags tonight at 5 p.m. at the Craig Cemetery, if you can help.
