Masks will no longer be required at all UCHealth locations, including UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center in Steamboat Springs, as of tomorrow. The universal mask mandate is being lifted as of March 1 because of the decrease in COVID-19 and RSV cases. It’s been three years. Anyone with cold or flu symptoms, or who is not fully vaccinated is encouraged to still wear a mask. UCHealth says, “staff, providers, partners, patients, volunteers and visitors are welcome to continue wearing masks in our facilities if they prefer.”
