Thirteen alpine athletes from Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club have qualified to compete in the U18 Alpine National Championships. The event starts tomorrow and runs March 11-15 in New Hampshire. Local athletes will represent the Rocky Central Division in Downhill, Super G, Giant Slalom and Slalom.

Thirteen SSWSC Alpine Athletes Qualify to Compete in the 2023 U18 Alpine National Championships
A series of races will take place starting Saturday, March 11-15 at Mittersill Alpine Resort in New Hampshire
STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. – SSWSC announced today that 13 alpine athletes have qualified to compete in the 2023 U18 Alpine National Championships at Mittersill Alpine Resort in New Hampshire, March 11-15, 2023. Athletes will race Downhill, Super G, Giant Slalom, and Slalom against the best U18 skiers in the nation.
The athletes qualified to represent the Rocky Central Division after a series of races in Vail, Colo., and Lacrosse, Wisc.
Jeremy Nolting, Roman Elvidge, Jonah Fleischer, Curtis Zanni, Ian Haupt, Nick Demarco, Everett Dooley, and Daniel Ferucci qualified for the men. Noelle Roth, Mollie McTique, Lauren Haerter, Elena Dziura, and Greta Goldsmith qualified for the women, but Noelle Roth will not compete due to injury. Teammate Aksel Kitt has been invited to join the group for the Downhill and Super G races.
