All of our local schools are on Thanksgiving break. The last day for the South Routt School District was Tuesday and they held an all-district assembly at SOROCO High School in Oak Creek. Mark Clemmons is the Dean of Students.
“This is important because we’re trying to make our district more connected, Pre-k through 12. Everybody from maintenance all the way from bus drivers to maintenance to teachers. So it’s important that we do all get together at times throughout the school year.”
There are 354 students in the district. Everyone had a Soroco Ram Family T-shirt that said, “We are Connected.”
All students and staff who have 12 years or more in the district were recognized.
All of the South Routt school bus drivers were thanked for what they do with a Butterball turkey.
