Kids in the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Colorado have been wrapping up jewelry and other donated gifts for parents and grandparents. Kit Paulin helped gather together unloved jewelry in the community through the Rotary and local churches. She then made the jewelry available for the kids to pick and choose Christmas gifts for their family members. That’s what the Boys and Girls Club kids have done in Craig and Steamboat Springs.
“It’s very special because it’s been very, very fun for the children and for their loved ones that they give the gifts to.”
They’re calling it the Rhinestone Roundup and Gifts for Guys. Walmart donated the wrapping paper, and now the family members of those Boys & Girls Club kids in both Craig and Steamboat Springs are all set for the holidays.
