The purchase of Casey’s Pond has been finalized and Northwest Colorado Health has official taken ownership of the senior living community. The money was raised through donations from over 400 community members, ranging from donations of $10 to multiple millions of dollars, under the leadership of Yampa Valley Community Foundation. The City of Steamboat Springs and Routt County also contributed. All critical services available at Casey’s Pond will stay the same. A ribbon cutting ceremony will be at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 22.
