More fraud alerts are coming out. This time from the Grand County Sheriff’s Office today. It is just like the warning from the Routt County Sheriff’s Office earlier this month. People call pretending they are from the sheriff’s office and there is a fake Bench Warrant out for your arrest. They know the names of the local sheriff and the officers and they try to get money from you over the phone. Do not fall for it, and call the real Sheriff’s Office in your county immediately.
