Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club is launching a new program called the Steamboat Cup. It starts Wednesday and runs every Wednesday through March.

This is free and open to all kids, ages seven to 13.

There is a list of free and fun competitions each Wednesday, and you’ll need to pre-register by 4 p.m. on the day before the event. There is no on-site registration.

Each student also needs a Howelsen Hill Day Pass or Season Pass.

Bib pickup is at 3:30 p.m. with competitions from 4-6 p.m.

• February 5 – Cross Country Parent-Child Relay
• February 12 – Ski Jumping (Hitchen Brothers’ Wednesday Night Jump)
• February 26 – Alpine Duals Race
• March 5 – Moguls Competition and Cross Country Fun Race 
• March 12 – Ski Jumping (Hitchen Brothers’ Wednesday Night Jump)
