Snowplow drivers are busy removing snow from city streets. Different communities have different ordinances.

Craig

The City of Craig and Craig Police have put out a list of 56 vehicles that need to be moved off of the street. The list includes the address, license plate, and a description of the vehicle. Craig Police says, “please move it as soon as possible to avoid your vehicle being ticketed or possibly towed.”

From the City of Craig website: “The Road and Bridge Department also removes snow from curb to curb and then sands the city streets for added traction and vehicle safety. The crew utilizes seven dump trucks with sanders, two motor graders and two pick-up trucks with snow plows to accomplish this. Snow removal is done on every storm over two inches. The additional sanding will be done as often during winter as needed.”

The City of Craig Road and Bridge Department has 16 full-time employees who maintain the streets in Craig. There are 52.56 miles of road of which 45.03 are paged and 7.53 are gravel.
