Immigration Program Founder Passes Torch to Next Generation
YAMPA VALLEY — Integrated Community today announced that Renzo Reátegui, Director of Immigration Services, will be stepping down from his position as he relocates to Denver to join JAMLAC (Justice and Mercy Legal Aid Center) as a DOJ Accredited Representative. During his remarkable 10-years of service, Reátegui has been instrumental in building and shaping the organization’s immigration program from the ground up as its founding director.
“For many years, I’ve had the privilege and honor of working alongside Renzo,” said Jerry Hernandez, Executive Director of Integrated Community. “His tireless commitment to ensuring the highest level of service for our clients has been nothing short of inspiring. Renzo’s deep compassion, expertise, and unwavering dedication have made a profound difference in countless lives throughout our community.”
Throughout his tenure, Reátegui has served on numerous non-profit boards throughout the Yampa Valley, demonstrating his deep commitment to community service. His contributions have extended far beyond his role, making him a pillar in the immigrant community.
The organization is pleased to announce that Tracy Gomez – who presently serves as their Lead Community Navigator – will assume leadership of the immigration program. Having worked closely alongside Renzo for several years, Tracy will continue to collaborate with him during the transition period. With Renzo providing ongoing support and mentorship to ensure seamless continuity of services, Tracy is exceptionally well-prepared to maintain the high standard of service established under Reátegui’s leadership.
The impact of Reátegui’s departure resonates throughout the organization, with many expressing both gratitude and optimism. “Renzo’s legacy will forever be woven into the fabric of our organization,” said Tracy Gomez. “His work has touched countless lives and created a model of service that will continue to benefit our community for generations to come.”
With the immigration program’s strong foundation and Tracy Gomez’s leadership, Integrated Community remains positioned to continue its vital work serving the Yampa Valley’s immigrant community, carrying forward the standard of excellence that has become synonymous with the organization’s services.
