Routt County Search and Rescue is raising money for a new rescue truck.
“We are trying to get a new truck. We’re replacing a 1999 Ford F-350. It’s a manual transmission. We love her but it’s time to actually get a truck that’s a little bit safer and easier to drive for the entire team.”
That’s John Williams with Routt County Search and Rescue.
“We need two trucks, for multiple missions. If one truck is down for maintenance, we always have to have one truck ready to go and that means two.”

An anonymous donor has offered a matching grant of up to $32,500 to reach the final amount needed to purchase the truck, which will be here in a few months.
RCSAR is taking donations, and they say every bit helps. The link to donate is at https://www.coloradogives.org/story/rescuetruck

Routt County Search and Rescue is also hosting a private event at Three Forks Ranch with meals, spa treatments, and activities and two overnight stays, March 20-22. All money raised goes to support Routt County Search and Rescue.
