Daniel Domin’s case is being held over to District Court. Judge Erin Wilson made the ruling in court Wednesday. Domin is the Steamboat Springs man accused of six felony counts of stalking. A search warrant at his home by Steamboat Police in July ended up with 13 firearms and thousands of rounds of ammunition. Domin will next appear before District Court Judge Michael O’Hara on Oct. 31. He is out on bond.
Fifth graders in Northwest Colorado learned all about water Wednesday at the 1st annual Yampa Youth Water Festival. Holly Kirkpatrick organized it for the Upper Yampa Water Conservancy District.
There were 26 learning stations set up throughout the Routt County Fairgrounds in Hayden. There were 415 fifth graders from throughout Routt and Moffat counties. One of them was 5th grader Ella Mae Miller from Ridgeview Elementary in Craig.
The day started with the launching of a weather balloon from the fairgrounds.

The Yampa Basin Rendezvous is at Colorado Mountain College, Sept. 22-23. The two-day event talks about the current state of, and future planning for, water resources in the Yampa River Basin.
There is a college fair at Steamboat Springs High School. It starts at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 22.
Tonight is another night of After School Cheerleading in Oak Creek. Meet at the Middle School Auditorium from 4:30-6 p.m. Then the cheerleaders will perform for halftime at the home football game on Oct. 14.
Also in Oak Creek, parent teacher conferences are Thursday and Friday.
The Senior Social Center of Craig is hosting a Wine Tasting. It’s from 6-9 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24. There are also appetizers and an art auction. The event is at The Yampa Building in Craig. Tickets are at the Craig Chamber, the Senior Social Center, and Downtown Books in Craig.
